Cycle Tracker does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays encrypted on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no advertising.
Cycle Tracker stores the information you choose to log — period and symptom entries, notes, cycle predictions, and app settings — in an encrypted local database on your device. This data:
If you enable Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometric unlock, authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system. The app never receives, stores, or has access to your raw biometric data — only a yes/no confirmation from the OS that you were authenticated.
The app includes an optional, manual export feature that lets you save an encrypted backup file to a location you choose (your own cloud drive, computer, etc.). This only happens when you explicitly choose to export — the app never uploads or shares this file on its own, and we have no access to it.
Any reminders the app shows are scheduled and generated entirely on your device. No push notification service or external server is involved.
Cycle Tracker does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software that transmits data off your device. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone, because we never receive it in the first place.
Cycle Tracker does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Since all data lives only on your device, deleting the app (or using the in-app "erase all data" option) permanently removes it. We have no copy to delete because we never had one.
